The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic operations and management training, and learns about key business aspects like building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

The typical pay range is $16.00 - $23.00 per hour. Actual salary depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
