The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to gain experience in management skills, learns about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service), and understands CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees may be considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance, customer service, and store operations, including leading staff and ensuring smooth opening and closing procedures in the absence of a manager.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 29
Time type: Part-time
Pay range: $16.00 - $24.00/hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
