The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee for higher-level supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop management skills, learns about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service), and understands CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of training, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management by ensuring smooth store operations, driving performance, and fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the store staff and ensures all opening and closing procedures are completed.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 29
Time Type: Part time
Pay Range: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
