The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop management skills, learns about the business, and understands CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion, trainees are eligible for promotion to supervisory roles, supporting store management in driving store performance and customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 29
Time Type: Part-time
Pay Range: $16.24 - $26.00 per hour. Actual salary depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
