The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned tasks to develop management skills, learns about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service), and understands CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Weekly Hours: 20
Time Type: Part-time
Pay Range: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
