The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing tasks as directed to gain experience, completing basic operations and management skills training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in driving store execution, performance, and customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the staff, ensures smooth store operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 29
Time Type: Part-time
Pay Range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
