The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare an employee for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop management skills, completes basic training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisor positions, which support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. In the absence of a manager, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
