The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare an employee for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop skills in management and operations, learns about building customer loyalty through excellent service, and gains insight into CVS/pharmacy's culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 35
Time type: Full time
Pay range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
