Title: Account Manager Associate - Commercial Lines
Remote | Supporting our Gainesville, GA Branch | Book Focus: Franchised Dealerships, Construction, Manufacturing & Distribution, Cyber
About the Role:
Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts. Work independently to meet production and quality standards while safeguarding against errors and omissions. Resolve customer service issues and manage smaller or less complex accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Competence: Maintain industry expertise.
- Team Leadership: Assist in directing daily activities of support staff.
- Customer Service: Handle requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
- Policy Management: Manage expirations and renewals.
- Renewal Process: Conduct research, gather underwriting info, analyze loss runs, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and pricing, present proposals, bind coverage, and follow up.
- Task Processing: Complete tasks accurately and timely.
- Contract Review: Ensure proper coverages in contracts.
- Accounts Receivable: Monitor reports and collect outstanding balances.
- System Maintenance: Keep agency management and carrier systems updated.
- Activity Monitoring: Ensure timely completion of activities.
- Communication: Maintain transparent communication with the team.
- Service Excellence: Deliver proactive, high-quality service.
- Policy Compliance: Stay updated on policies and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Adopt best practices.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- 7+ years of customer service experience in insurance
- Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
- Active licensing; professional designation preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
