The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing directed work to prepare for future supervisory responsibilities, completing basic operations and management skills training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in driving store execution and performance, focusing on excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40
Time Type: Full time
Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
