Job summary

Break Time Convenience Store in Maryville, MO seeks a Shift Leader to assist in management and daily operations. You will help with finances, oversee shifts, and complete paperwork, ensuring efficient service and store upkeep. This is an entry into management with a focus on customer care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer service–oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with transport to/from bank.
• Flexible availability including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to perform math calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Able to learn new concepts and operate a computer and POS devices.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and lead a team.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Working with customers—provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Day-to-day store operations—assistance with banking, inventory, bookkeeping, and fuel management.
• Merchandising and sales—pricing, promotions, stocking, and product presentation.
• Supervising—train new employees and assist with performance evaluations.
• Communication—maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Financial responsibility—manage cash shortages, audits, and expense control.
• Teamwork—maintain professionalism and assist in recruiting and training.
• Working with technology—use POS systems and devices to perform calculations and shift reporting.
