Job summary

Cove PREP is seeking a Shift Supervisor to monitor residents and supervise staff on their shift. The role involves coordinating a patient support team and ensuring high-quality care under physician guidance.

Responsibilities include direct/indirect patient care, staff leadership, and participation in therapeutic activities. A strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and collaborative teamwork within the facility is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree is required.
• Two or more years’ experience with the patient population in a support role.
• One or more years’ experience as a lead or in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents and supervise staff on the shift.
• Provide medical or therapeutic care as directed by physicians or health practitioners.
• Coordinate work and set performance expectations for the unit.
• Lead or co-lead group sessions and supervise admissions/discharges.
• Ensure patient safety and document progress and services provided.
• Engage patients in activities to promote wellness and independence.
