The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completing basic management training, and learning key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through excellent service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management by driving store performance, ensuring smooth operations, and leading the staff in the absence of a manager, including opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime is required.
Compensation varies based on experience, education, and location.
