CVS Health seeks a Shift Supervisor Trainee for an entry-level role focused on developing supervisory skills in a retail environment. This position involves working closely with store management to enhance customer service and operational efficiency, preparing trainees for future leadership opportunities within the company.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing assigned tasks to develop supervisory skills, completing basic management and operations training, and understanding key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and embracing CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in retail, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills are preferred. The role requires flexibility to work early mornings, overnight, weekends, and overtime as needed.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, depending on the position. Actual offers depend on experience, education, location, and other factors.
