CVS Health seeks a Shift Supervisor Trainee for an entry-level role designed to prepare employees for supervisory positions. Responsibilities include supervising store staff and driving excellent customer service while handling various operational tasks. This role is ideal for candidates with retail experience who are looking to advance in their careers within a leading health services company.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support the store management team by driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. In the absence of a manager, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary, depending on the position, experience, education, and location.
