CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to prepare for supervisory roles. This entry-level position involves developing management skills and promoting customer loyalty. Trainees will support store operations, oversee staff, and ensure excellent customer service in a dynamic retail environment.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned tasks to develop supervisory skills, complete basic management training, and learn key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support the store management team in executing store operations and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads staff, ensures smooth store operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is necessary.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or salary; actual compensation depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
