CVS Health is looking for a dedicated Shift Supervisor Trainee in Pahrump, NV, to prepare for future supervisory roles. This entry-level position focuses on enhancing supervisory skills while supporting store management and ensuring exceptional customer service. Candidates should have a high school diploma and some retail experience, along with strong communication and analytical skills.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through excellent service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management by driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through exceptional service. In the absence of a manager, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time annual salary, depending on the position. Actual offers depend on experience, education, location, and other factors.
