Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking a Production Line Shift Supervisor to lead the Waxdale shift, promote SH&E standards, mentor team members, and drive productivity. The role oversees on-shift operations, enforces safety, and ensures quality across all production activities.

The position requires 5+ years in manufacturing (or a degree with 2+ years experience) and 1+ year in leadership, with legal work authorization in the United States. Not eligible for remote work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing or a university degree plus 2+ years of relevant work experience
• 1+ years in a leadership role
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for full-time employment

Responsibilities

• Supervises shift team members, ensuring productivity, safety, and product quality
• Maintains weekly production schedules and resolves staffing or mechanical issues
• Builds the team through training, development, and positive reinforcement
• Ensures production targets are met and supports labor staffing for the shift
• Owns performance management write-ups and reviews for shift operators
• Conducts investigations and disciplines as needed
• Maintains a clean and safe workplace per SCJ policies
