Job description

Gopuff is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our Starbucks Operations team. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role is a core part of the team with the responsibility to ensure order accuracy and fast, efficient delivery to our customers. This role contributes to Starbucks' success by assisting the regional manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. The incumbent is responsible for deploying baristas and delegating tasks to create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers. The role requires modeling and acting in accordance with both Starbucks standards and Gopuff standards.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:

• Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks and Gopuff
• Maintains a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to keep store operations standard and set a positive example for the team
• Anticipates customer and store needs by evaluating the environment for cues
• Communicates information to the manager for team response and creating a positive working environment
• Assists with new employee training and provides respectful coaching and feedback
• Creates a positive learning environment and addresses individual motivation, needs, and concerns
• Executes store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing duties
• Maintains regular attendance and punctuality
• Provides quality beverages, food, and products adhering to standards
• Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Works flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or similar, with 1 year in a cafe preferred
• ServeSafe Certification highly preferred
• Experience in fast-paced cafes preferred
• Ability to work with fluid schedules
• Welcoming attitude towards new team members
• Ability to learn and adapt to technology needs
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Focus on quality and pride in work
• Attention to detail and following multi-step processes

Pay:

• $19.75/hr
