Job summary

SSP America in Sanford is seeking a Shift Supervisor to greet guests, run shifts to SSP standards, and train new hires. You will complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists, and provide coaching to the team to meet business goals while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate is 18+, can pass a TSA background check, has a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year in the food & beverage industry with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pass a 10-Year TSA Background Check.
• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the food & beverage industry.
• Full Service and/or Quick Service restaurant experience, preferred.
• Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Run shifts according to SSP standards and operating procedures.
• Train new hires on operational standards and processes.
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required.
• Provide support, coaching and direction to team to deliver business goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
