Job summary

Wendy's Shift Manager role is the first management level, overseeing opening and closing duties and assisting in daily operations to ensure restaurant effectiveness, quality and customer service.

The position may include additional supervisory responsibilities, training crew members, and cooperating with the Restaurant Management team to maintain safety, standards, and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• 6 months or more of restaurant, retail, customer service focused, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures to crew members.
• Act as Cash Manager, including setting up cash registers at open and verifying cash at close.
• Perform walk-throughs to ensure readiness to open/close and during rush periods.
• Supervise crew members and Team Trainers to maximize retention.
• Ensure compliance with all Company policies to Delight Every Customer.
• Ensure quality, production and service standards are met and maintain a safe, efficient environment.
• Onboard new hires in Workday and support shift-specific procedures per DOP.
• Assist with crew scheduling to maintain appropriate coverage and meet customer service standards.
• Follow up on VOC issues and drive resolutions.
