Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at St. Mary's College of Maryland, Saint Mary's City, MD. You will direct associates during a shift and ensure duties align with policy and procedure.

Ideal candidates have prior food service and front-of-house experience, with ability to train staff, schedule shifts, and manage performance. Compensation is $17 per hour, plus a $50 safety shoe allowance, a free shift meal, and a uniform.

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure duties are completed.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Schedule : Full time; Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. More details upon interview.
