AutoZone Full-Time Shift Supervisor

AutoZone's Full-Time Shift Supervisors assist the Store Manager by leading company initiatives and ensuring maximum productivity. They train high-performing AutoZoners in a safe environment, drive sales, control expenses and shrink, and maintain compliance with company procedures in line with AutoZone’s expectations. They also deliver a WOW! Customer shopping experience by living the Pledge every day.

Position Responsibilities

1. Assist Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store personnel.
2. Take responsibility for store operations and the commercial department during the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager and Store Manager, on assigned shifts.
3. Help manage the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure timely service for commercial accounts and stores, including deliveries.
4. Delegate and oversee store merchandising tasks to ensure they are completed promptly.
5. Operate cash registers and handle cash duties, including deposits, petty cash, and lane accountability.
6. Ensure adherence to all company policies and loss prevention procedures.
7. Use ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or finding suitable alternatives.
8. Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring AutoZoners follow safety practices including PPE.
9. Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security controls.
10. Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards.
11. Conduct opening and closing procedures.
12. Manage emergency situations and execute proper emergency procedures.
13. Follow accident procedures and provide feedback on AutoZoner performance to the store manager.
14. Assist in monitoring and managing activities related to Risk & Safety Management.
15. Address customer concerns, aiming to turn complaints into compliments.
16. Process returns and manage inventory effectively.
17. Communicate AutoZoner issues and concerns to the Store Manager promptly and confidentially.
18. Motivate AutoZoners to deliver WOW! Customer Service, enhance productivity, and market products to increase sales and profits.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ASE Certified preferred.
• Demonstrates high integrity.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to drive customer service.
