Overview

Discovery seeks an outstanding Account Supervisor to develop and manage advocacy accounts, strategies, and tactics for major pharmaceutical clients. The ideal candidate will have project management experience with both internal teams and clients, mastery of daily tactical account elements, strategic planning skills, and the ability to improve agency efficiencies.

Responsibilities
  1. Tactical Execution: Manage project execution from start to finish, oversee initiatives, guide internal and client teams, ensure timely deliverables, document communications, contribute to planning, and foster positive departmental relationships.
  2. Client Relationship: Understand client needs, own client relationships, communicate effectively, build rapport, lead client presentations, and manage difficult conversations.
  3. Strategy: Lead day-to-day business, contribute to account strategy, understand client positioning and competitive landscape, and keep the team informed of market changes.
Qualifications
  1. 4-6+ years in account services within healthcare, management consulting, or related fields.
  2. At least one year of staff management, development, and mentoring experience (preferred).
  3. Minimum three years as a Senior Account Manager.
  4. Bachelor’s Degree required.
  5. Strong business acumen, decision-making, planning, influence, and communication skills.
  6. Experience in expanding existing business and supporting new pitches (preferred).
  7. Willing to travel (10-15%).
