Job summary

Canteen at PBSC Palm Beach Gardens in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor to direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure that all tasks meet policy and quality standards.

This role requires prior customer service and supervisory experience. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at 3160 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410, with a pay range of $19.00 to $20.00 per hour and online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Must have previous customer service and supervisory experience.
• Experience in training and creating work schedules is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure tasks meet policy and quality standards.
• Provide training and create work schedules for staff.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety targets are met.
• Act as the point of contact for employee requests for time off and concerns.

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
