Job summary

Canteen is hiring for a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR (RECEIVING) at Miramar, FL. The role leads associates on the receiving dock, ensures accurate intake of goods, and maintains safety standards.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Prior shipping, receiving and supervisory experience is required. This position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the Canteen network.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, and supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the unloading, receiving, inspection, and storage of inbound shipments.
• Verify incoming products against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.
• Ensure all deliveries are received, documented, and processed accurately.
• Coordinate dock schedules, delivery windows, and receiving priorities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving docks, coolers, freezers, and storage areas.
• Inspect and document temperatures of refrigerated and frozen products upon receipt.
• Identify and reject damaged, expired, or unsafe products.
• Monitor receiving operations for quality control and food safety.
