Shift Supervisor

Location: Carolina's Medical Center Main – 1000 Blythe Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203. Online applications only. Pay: $21.06 per hour.

Schedule: Full‑time; open availability preferred. Typical shift 5:00 am to 3:00 pm – days may vary. Details to be provided during interview.

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
