AutoZone Full-Time Shift Supervisor

AutoZone's Full-Time Shift Supervisors assist the Store Manager in leading company initiatives, ensuring maximum productivity, training high-performing AutoZoners in a safe environment, driving sales, controlling expenses and shrink, and maintaining compliance with company procedures according to AutoZone's expectations. They exceed customer expectations by delivering a WOW! Customer shopping experience on assigned shifts by Living the Pledge every day.

Position Responsibilities

1. Assist Store Manager with supervising, training, and developing store personnel.
2. Assume responsibility for store operations and the commercial department in the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager and Store Manager, on assigned shifts.
3. Assist with managing the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure commercial accounts and stores are serviced and deliveries are made as promised.
4. Delegate and ensure timely completion of store merchandising tasks.
5. Operate cash registers and handle cash duties, including deposits, petty cash, and lane accountability.
6. Follow all company policies and loss prevention procedures.
7. Utilize ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or finding suitable alternatives.
8. Maintain a safe working environment and ensure AutoZoners implement safety practices, including PPE.
9. Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security controls.
10. Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards.
11. Conduct and review all opening and closing procedures.
12. Manage emergency situations and conduct proper emergency procedures.
13. Follow proper accident procedures.
14. Provide feedback regarding AutoZoner performance to the store manager.
15. Assist in monitoring and managing activities related to Risk & Safety Management.
16. Address customer concerns and resolve them to turn complaints into compliments.
17. Process returns and manage inventory effectively.
18. Communicate AutoZoner issues and concerns to the Store Manager promptly and confidentially.
19. Motivate AutoZoners to deliver WOW! Customer Service, enhance productivity, and market products to boost sales and profits.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Demonstrate high integrity.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to drive customer service.
