Job Details

• Position: Full time Shift Supervisor (hiring immediately)
• Location: Alexandria City Public Schools, 3330 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22302 (openings at other district locations)
• Schedule: Full time Monday through Friday, hours may vary with some weekend availability; full and part time shifts scheduled as needed.
• Requirements: Prior managerial experience required.
• Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets quality, productivity and safety expectations.
• Act as the contact person for employee complaints or time-off requests.
• Mentor employees, develop them and encourage goal setting and advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
