Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to lead on-site operations at our travel plaza locations in the US. You will supervise team members during shifts, ensure superb customer service, and uphold brand standards and food-safety requirements.

You will also train new hires and monitor cash handling practices, with responsibility for opening and closing procedures and POS operations. The role requires strong communication, attentiveness, and ability to manage multiple tasks, from

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Perform opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments per policies.
• Follow food handling procedures including wrapping, dating, stocking, storing and temperature checks.
• Handle kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products and maintain product knowledge.
