Murphy Family Restaurants is hiring experienced Shift Managers to oversee McDonald’s operations across Southeast Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. You will lead shifts, supervise crew and other managers, and ensure fast, accurate, friendly service with a focus on quality, service, and cleanliness.

This role requires at least 1 year of management experience, preferably in quick service. Flexible scheduling allows part-time or full-time work, with opportunities for training and advancement within

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of management experience, preferably in a quick service restaurant.
• Passion for helping and serving others.
• Strong customer service and support focus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Make decisions and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift (crew positioning, stock levels) and monitor performance to meet standards.
• Maintain safety and cash controls during the shift.
• Oversee shift profitability and manage labor and food cost.
• Meet targets during shifts and direct the team accordingly.
• Schedule crew, enforce labor laws, and drive high performance.
• Lead food safety and cleanliness in line with McDonald’s standards.
• Address customer concerns and follow recovery procedures.
• Provide encouraging leadership and ongoing training for staff.
• Assist departments to meet goals and handle other duties as assigned.
