Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor in New Jersey to lead store staff when management is unavailable, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to opening/closing procedures. You will supervise activities, communicate across teams, and support exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires flexibility across early mornings, overnights, and weekends, with a base hourly pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff when no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite; ensure opening and closing procedures are completed.
• Supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints; promote CVS customer service culture; maintain confidentiality.
• Price merchandise, stock shelves, and manage displays per weekly, promotional, and seasonal plans; reset departments following POGs.
