Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations at our detox and residential treatment facilities. You will supervise staff, coordinate intake, transportation, meals, medications, and events, and ensure safety and adherence to program rules.

Ideal candidates bring a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and a commitment to recovery principles.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
