Job summary

RI International in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee staff on assigned shifts in a crisis/behavioral health setting. The role focuses on supervision, risk management, and coordinating care within a multi-disciplinary team.

The position requires a Master’s in psychology or social work, state licensure, and at least two years of supervisory experience. The role involves flexible pool shifts, training, and adherence to regulatory and company policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology or social work from an accredited college or university.
• Associate licensure in good standing in behavioral health; independent licensure preferred.
• State designation as required per state regulations.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and supervision for all staff.
• Guide the discharge planning process.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the individual’s support team for collateral information.
• Ensure documentation and authorizations are completed timely.
• Maintain compliance with policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Travel as required.
