Rite of Passage, Hope Forest Academy in Hope Forest Academy, FL, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee daily Group Living operations and ensure compliance with policy, licensing, and safety standards. The role includes supervising Unit Managers and staff to deliver evidence-based youth programs.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in youth services, with a background in juvenile treatment and a willingness to pass background checks and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public/Business Administration, Behavior Science, Counseling, Secondary Education, Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social/Human Services or any equivalent combination of years’ experience, education and/or training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Three (3) years of experience in a juvenile treatment (Residential, Behavioral, Detention, Corrections, etc.) Related and/or equivalent experience may be substituted with approval.
• One (1) year supervisory experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management and supervisory control of Group Living operations under the supervision of the Director of Group Living.
• Ensure ROP programs are implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State and Local licensing requirements and supervise Unit Managers and other staff as appropriate.

What you’ll do:

As Shift Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for the daily management and supervisory control of Group Living operations under the supervision of the Director of Group Living. Shift Supervisors ensure ROP programs are being implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State and Local licensing requirements and supervise Unit Managers and other staff as appropriate.

To be considered, you should:

Bachelor’s degree in Public/Business Administration, Behavior Science, Counseling, Secondary Education, Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social/Human Services OR any equivalent combination numbers of years’ experience, education and/or training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Military experience and training is acceptable.

Three (3) years of experience in a juvenile treatment (Residential, Behavioral, Dentition, Corrections, etc.) Related and/or equivalent experience may be substituted with approval.

One (1) year supervisory experience.

• Possess a working knowledge of the Positive Operational Culture behavior modification program.
• Have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple people and projects.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
