Job summary

CVS Health in Middletown, CT is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team in executing store operations, driving performance, and delivering excellent customer service when managers are not onsite.

You will supervise the crew, communicate with management, assist customers, price and stock merchandise, reset displays, and ensure opening and closing procedures are completed accurately. This part-time role requires flexibility, including early mornings and weekends.

Job description

Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for ensuring the completion of all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

Management

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store's crew through assigning, directing, and following up of all activities.
• Effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews.

Customer Service

• Assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking customers.
• Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.

Merchandise/Presentation

• Price merchandise.
• Stock shelves.
• Execute the displays, sign, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments following POGs.

Required Qualifications

Pay Range

$18.94 - $27.94 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
