Job summary

Charter Next Generation, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to operate and monitor production lines turning resin into film used in packaging that protects food and medicine.

You will work with a close-knit team, receive hands-on training, and have real opportunities to grow within the company. The role requires leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, the ability to work 12-hour shifts, and lifting up to 65 pounds.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.

Position Schedule

Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 3-4 day schedule

• A - Day Shift: 7:00am - 7:00pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + rotating Saturdays)
• B – Night Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + rotating Saturdays)

Position Duties

• Collaborate with teammates to achieve production and safety goals
• Coach, motivate and engage team members to assist in workforce development
• Organize and lead shift and safety meetings
• Establish work schedules and production sequences to meet production goals
• Conduct performance evaluations in a timely manner
• Confirm all lines are cleaned in accordance with BRC standards
• Document all disciplinary actions resulting from policy/procedure violations
• Verify the quality of all products by managing and overseeing quality checks
• Ensure shift is staffed in its entirety and communicates with human resources
• Analyze and complete overtime paperwork, records, performance charts, work orders, and production schedules to set production requirements, production estimates, and outputs

Position Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience required, with experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
• A high school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
