Job summary

Charter Next Generation (CNG) in Rhinelander, WI is hiring a Shift Supervisor to operate and monitor production lines. You will join a company where every employee is an owner, with equity from day one, and earn up to $33.00 per hour plus overtime and bonuses.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $26.00 To $33.00 Hourly

Position Schedule

• 12-hour static shifts (Days - 6:00am - 6:00pm)

Position Duties

• Help operate and support production lines
• Ensures plant is operating safely and all safety precautions are being taken by employees
• Responsible for the management of a shift of employees by assigning responsibilities, delegating tasks and responsibilities and training and development for employees
• Conducts performance evaluations and makes recommendations of assigned staff at the discretion of the Production Manager
• Oversees shift to ensure production is running lean and staying on schedule.
• Performs daily audits and reports any issues in a timely matter.
• Promote continual KPI improvements and active contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability.
• Continuous Improvement mindset. Drive projects and team to excellence.
• Work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Collaborate with your team during shift changeovers

Position Qualifications

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 55 pounds
• 3+ years in leadership experience
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
