Pivot Point Center for Youth in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Shift Supervisor to oversee daily Group Living operations under the Director of Group Living. You will ensure programs comply with policies, licensing, and the Positive Operational Culture framework while supervising Unit Managers.

Ideal candidates hold a related bachelor's degree, 3 years in juvenile treatment, 1 year in supervision, and strong multi-tasking and people skills. Background checks, drug screen and TB test are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (as listed).
• Three (3) years of experience in a juvenile treatment setting.
• One (1) year supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of the Positive Operational Culture behavior modification program.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Shift Supervisor at Pivot Point Youth Center in Las Vegas, Nevada

Pivot Point Center for Youth (PPCY) provides short-term residential treatment to girlsbetween the ages of 12 to 18 who exhibit maladaptive patterns of behavior, specialneeds, moderate mental health disorders, and emotional and behavioral disturbances.Youth may have a history of trauma, substance use disorders, and long-term involvementwithin the Department of Juvenile Justice Services. We expect youth to have presentingbehaviors and impairments that affect their ability to be safe in a home-like setting.ROP will provide quality treatment, education, 24-hour supervision, cognitive,behavioral, social, vocation and other skills and services for youth who are completingplacement or for those awaiting adjudication by the Court.

What youll do:

As a Shift Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for the daily management and supervisory control of Group Living operations under the supervision of the Director of Group Living. Shift Supervisors ensure ROP programs are being implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State and Local licensing requirements and supervise Unit Managers and other staff as appropriate.

To be considered, you should:

• Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
• Bachelor's degree in Public/Business Administration, Behavior Science, Counseling, Secondary Education, Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social/Human Services or any equivalent combination numbers of years' experience, education and/or training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Military experience and training are acceptable.
• Three (3) years of experience in a juvenile treatment (Residential, Behavioral, Detention, Corrections, etc.)
• One (1) year supervisory experience.
• Possess a working knowledge of the Positive Operational Culture behavior modification program.
• Have demonstrated ability to manage multiple people and projects.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Schedule: Wednesday 3:30 pm- 10:30 pm, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9:30 am- 10:30pm
