KFC in Haltom City is seeking a Shift Lead to drive daily operations with energy and commitment. You will coach a team, manage shift tasks, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include supervising Team Members, applying cash and security policies, and contributing to P&L management. A strong communicator with reliable transportation is essential for success in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Adheres to cash, security, inventory and labor policies.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Accessibility to dependable and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills.
• Physical dexterity required (the ability to move up to 50 lbs).
• Attendance and punctuality a must.
• Operating of cash register as needed and making change for other cashiers.

• Oversee Team Members' completion of shift tasks and maintain clean appearance.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy.
• Provide regular feedback to the RGM on Team Member performance.
• Offer ongoing constructive feedback and coaching to Team Members.
• Participate in training Team Members.
• Handle conflicts with RGM to reach resolutions.
• Assist RGM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Support Profit & Loss management through cash control, inventory and labor.
• Oversee product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking and holding times.
• Assist RGM with facility maintenance and health & safety standards.

The Day-to-Day:

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by executing KFC Connect Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' completion of shift tasks and maintain clean, neat appearances.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
• Provide regular feedback to the RGM on Team Member performance.
• Offer ongoing constructive and positive feedback to Team Members.
• Actively participate in training Team Members.
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with the RGM to achieve resolution.
• Assist the RGM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory and managing labor.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking and holding times.
• Assist the RGM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are always followed.
