Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Granby, CT, to support the store management team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving store performance. You will lead the crew when managers are not onsite and ensure opening/closing procedures are completed accurately.

You will supervise staff, maintain inventory and displays, and uphold CVS customer service standards while ensuring confidentiality and a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for ensuring the completion of all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

• Management: Work effectively with store management and store crews; supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing, and following up on all activities.
• Effective communication between store management and crews.
• Customer Service: Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote CVS customer service culture; handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Merchandise/Presentation: Price merchandise, stock shelves; execute displays, signage, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise; execute display and maintenance of off‑shelf merchandise; reset departments following POGs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a retail supervisor.

High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred but not Required.

Pay Range: $18.94 – $27.94 per hour (base hourly rate).
