Position Overview

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the Shift Supervisor is a safety-sensitive position responsible for all aspects of daily operations and maintenance activities for their crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise production, maintenance, and development work related to rinsing operations at Florence Copper’s Process test facility.
• Monitor plant and RO operations continuously.
• Respond promptly to system issues and coordinate repairs.
• Assign work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Prepare daily shift reports, manage team member time reporting, and complete inspection forms.
• Assist with inventory management and procurement of spare parts and supplies.
• Conduct safety training for team members and maintain the training/progression matrix.
• Achieve production and maintenance goals within schedule and budget constraints.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations in partnership with the Senior Supervisor.
• This role involves active participation in daily plant and wellfield operations.
• Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of plant operating experience; experience in copper processing, maintenance, wellfield, or water treatment is preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience required; accredited supervisory training is a plus.
• Associate degree or higher in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience working in a safety-focused environment.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong awareness of occupational hazards and safety practices.
• Effective time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Work Environment

• Primarily outdoor work in all-weather conditions, with some office work.

• Personal protective equipment must be worn during work.
