Job summary

• Ensure OHSE policies and procedures are followed in the area of responsibility.
• Monitor performance of people, workplaces and equipment, and manage the skills matrix.
• Complete required documentation at plant level for production, quality, attendance, etc.
• Monitor achievement of established quality standards for processes and products.
• Have authority to stop production and deliveries when required.
• Report to Section Manager on key effectiveness and efficiency ratios for the area.
• Ensure proper administration and use of consumption materials.
• Participate in pre-shift and daily production meetings.
• Follow Ficosa’s Code of Ethics and ISMS training.
• Lead the team, ensuring effectiveness, development and motivation, and embody Ficosa's values.
• Provide the team with means to comply with OHSE rules.
• Assist in maintaining and improving OHSE and quality departments.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepare equipment and workplaces and assign the operators to the various job positions depending on their technical knowledge and skills.
• Distribute and monitor the teamwork, as well as providing the necessary support for the correction of possible deviations.
• Train/coach new team leader/operator if Team Leader does not exist in the area and perform layered flash audit.
• Ensure OHSE policies and procedures are followed in the area of responsibility.
• Monitor and supervise optimal performance of people, workplaces and equipment, as well as controlling skills matrix (versatility)
• Fill in the required documentation at a plant level for production, quality, attendance, etc.
• Monitor achievement of established quality standards for processes and products.
• Authority to stop the production and deliveries in case that it is required.
• Report to Section Manager on the main effectiveness and efficiency ratios for the area of responsibility.
• Ensure appropriate administration and use of consumption materials.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and daily production meetings.
• Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
