Job summary

Hustler Hollywood in Charlotte, NC seeks a Shift Supervisor to support the Store Leadership Team when a manager is unavailable. You will supervise store staff, engage customers, and help drive sales while upholding brand standards and teamwork.

The role requires being present on the sales floor, maintaining store condition, and delivering excellent customer service. You will participate in security checks and assist with merchandising and end-of-shift responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be available to work weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun).
  • Ability to utilize a retail POS system and an inventory scanner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Completion of the Shift Supervisor three‑month training program.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Store Management with generating sales potential by being a constant presence on the sales floor, setting pace and energy, and ensuring integrity of the brand.
  • Hold store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
  • Ensure customer service is the number one priority, partnering with Sales Associates to achieve sales goals and KPIs.
  • Manage rest and meal break schedules and ensure all zones are covered.
  • Provide relevant feedback, coaching, and redirection in customer engagement, selling, and sales floor etiquette.
  • Assist with managing standards of merchandise presentations, signage, and displays.
  • Escalate performance concerns to the Store Manager.
  • Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and create a positive store environment.
  • Assist with store security, including bag checks and monitoring fitting rooms.
  • Ensure staff are treated professionally, courteously, and respectfully.
  • Process return/exchange transactions, authorize promotional discounts and employee sales in the absence of a manager.
  • Adhere to LP policies.
  • Understand inventory management procedures.
  • Represent the company professionally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Store Leadership Team in the absence of a manager on the sales floor. The primary duties include supervising store staff, ensuring high customer engagement, and driving sales. The Shift Supervisor represents the brand, operates professionally, engages customers, maintains store standards, and supports teamwork.

  • Assist with store security, including checking bags and monitoring fitting rooms.
  • Ensure store staff are treated professionally, courteously, and respectfully.
  • Process return/exchange transactions, authorize promotional discounts and employee sales in the absence of a manager.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with all LP policies.
  • Have full understanding of inventory management procedures.
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of key holder experience in a retail setting preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
  • Must commit to two store closings per week, including one on Friday or Saturday.
  • Ability to utilize retail POS system and inventory scanner.
  • Must be able to make change using American monetary units.
  • Ability to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Completion of the Shift Supervisor three‑month training program.
Work Environment
  • Requires ability to lift large and heavy packages and boxes rapidly and constantly, and to perform continuous loading and unloading of large boxes throughout a scheduled shift.
  • Must be able to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and carry product for customer service, inventory re‑stock, shipment processing, and store merchandising.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. without restrictions.
  • Must regularly perform store maintenance items such as sweeping, vacuuming, emptying trash, and cleaning.
  • Must be able to use and climb ladders and/or step stools.
  • Requires ability to perform repetitive motions (e.g., hanging, folding, ringing up customers).
  • Must use caution when dealing with difficult customers, houseless or transients, and avoid confrontations.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • Adult content environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
