Job summary

VanTran Transformers in Waco, TX is seeking a QA Supervisor to lead the shift quality program. You will supervise QA auditors, drive inspections, containment, and verification activities, and ensure adherence to engineering drawings and customer requirements.

Collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Production, and Test teams, you will improve First Pass Yield, reduce defects, and promote a culture of quality ownership across the factory.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering/quality or related field with 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
• Alternatively 7+ years of progressive quality assurance experience in manufacturing.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise QA auditors and coordinate inspection activities across production operations.
• Lead containment activities and coordinate disposition of nonconforming materials.
• Ensure inspection plans and QMS requirements are followed on the line.
• Escalate quality concerns to Quality Control Management and Quality Engineering.
• Mentor team on process discipline and continuous improvement initiatives.
