Job summary

VanTran Transformers is seeking a QA Supervisor to act as the Shift Quality Leader for the assigned manufacturing operations. You will supervise QA Auditors and drive defect prevention, containment, and verification to ensure products meet drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Production, and Test teams to promote process discipline, QMS compliance, and continuous improvement in an Engineer-to-Order environment, improving First

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related technical discipline with 3+ years manufacturing quality experience, or 7+ years in quality with leadership experience.
• Experience supervising QA staff and coordinating inspection activities on the factory floor.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing quality principles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Quality Leader for the assigned shift and plant.
• Directly supervise QA Auditors and coordinate inspection activities throughout production operations.
• Assign inspection resources based on production priorities, customer requirements, and risk.
• Provide quality leadership support during shift start-up, daily tier meetings, and escalation reviews.
• Ensure adequate quality coverage across all manufacturing processes.
• Lead containment activities for quality-related production issues and review disposition of nonconforming materials.
• Monitor compliance with quality procedures, inspection plans, control plans, and work instructions.
