Job summary

VanTran Transformers is seeking a QA Supervisor to act as the Shift Quality Leader for assigned manufacturing operations in Waco, TX. You will supervise QA Auditors, lead inspection activities, and serve as the primary quality escalation point during the shift.

You will drive defect prevention, containment, and process discipline in an Engineer-to-Order environment, ensuring compliance with specifications, customer requirements, and QMS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field; 3+ years of relevant QX experience.
• Or 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in quality assurance/quality control in manufacturing.
• Prior leadership or team lead experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA team on the assigned shift and plant.
• Direct QA Auditors and coordinate inspection activities across production operations.
• Review nonconforming materials and coordinate disposition with QA Mgmt/QA Eng.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, customer requirements, and QMS.
