Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to oversee day-to-day manufacturing on a fixed 12-hour shift in Tolleson, AZ. You will lead production teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost targets while fostering engagement and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, driving schedules, and supporting ISO 9000 and AS9100 standards. Travel 5-10% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• 2+ years in manufacturing operations.
• 3+ years of leadership experience supervising production teams.
• Data analysis to chart and interpret metrics.
• Excellent people skills and ability to interact with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Directly supervise production employees, providing coaching and accountability.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain to resolve issues.
• Drive production schedules and adapt to changing priorities and conditions.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Lead cost-reduction projects and plant change management.
