Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct shift production, monitor quality, and ensure safety compliance at our Savannah facility.

The role requires the ability to train staff, review procedures, and maintain equipment readiness to sustain high standards of food safety and efficiency. Two or more years in plant production, plus a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant training, are required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in all areas of plant production work.
• High School diploma or equivalent; completion of AIB Bakery Science Residence Program.
• Completion of formal management skills training program.

Responsibilities

• Directs shift production, checks formulas, assigns tasks, and monitors procedures to meet standards.
• Reviews records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials; inspects product quality.
• Ensures that all equipment is in good operating condition.
• Promotes positive employee relations and interdepartmental communication.
• Maintains a safe working environment through enforcement of safety policies and meetings.
• Plans and adjusts work assignments to cover all phases of production.
• May operate the facility metal detector and must be trained and certified.
• Ensures employee compliance with work rules.
• Assists with employee training.
• Participates in disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness of the work area.
• Ensures compliance with company policies (EEO, Harassment, Safety, SOX).
• Performs other duties as deemed by management and supports schedules and policies.
