Job summary

SendCutSend, a leading on-demand manufacturer of sheet metal and CNC parts, is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to oversee all shift operations, including pre-production, post-production, quality control, and shipping. You will ensure clear communication with shift leads and staff.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Clear and effective communication skills with all levels of management
• Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Experience handling personnel issues and administering corrective action

Responsibilities

• Oversee all production operations during your assigned shift, including production, post-production, quality control, and shipping
• Prioritize and organize daily production, provide guidance to staff, and address bottlenecks by redistributing labor to ensure timelines are met and orders are completed on time
• Ensure all departments produce and ship parts that meet company quality guidelines while maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe operation
• Support training, coaching, and development of staff members
• Maintain smooth shift transitions by conducting regular shift huddles to ensure clear and consistent communication with staff
• Communicate with Customer Support and Preflight teams regarding problematic orders and offer solutions to resolve issues
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production floor
• Perform end of shift duties as directed by the Operations Director
• Address personnel concerns and administer corrective action when necessary in partnership with leadership
• Complete any additional tasks as set forth by the Operations Director
• Perform other duties as assigned
